Hollywood's toilet needs come from location shoots, the Pride Parade along Hollywood Boulevard, the Sunday farmers market and the Hollywood Bowl. Los Angeles Porta Potty Rental connects you with an independent local provider who delivers, services and removes standard units, ADA units, trailers and handwash stations.
Hollywood gets its crowds in different shapes. The Walk of Fame runs about 2,500 stars along eight blocks, the Hollywood Farmers Market draws roughly 10,000 people on a Sunday, and the Hollywood Bowl seats 17,500. Add a parade or a closed street and the sidewalk becomes a venue.
It is also the neighborhood where FilmLA, the office that handles on-location filming permits, keeps its address at 6255 W. Sunset Boulevard. Crews who need a base camp, a block of street or a few days at a single location are as regular a rental customer here as festival organizers are.
Because three ZIP codes cover so much varied ground, from tourist blocks to hillside streets, a call works best with a precise description of the spot: the cross streets, the surface and the hours.

The Pride Parade follows Hollywood Boulevard, with a Pride Village after it.
The Sunday farmers market draws roughly 10,000 visitors.
Hollywood Bowl evenings put 17,500 seats' worth of guests in the hills.
Tourist crowds on the Walk of Fame include many guests who need accessible units.
Portable restroom placement and unit type choice in Los Angeles depend on seasonal rain, summer heat peaks and Santa Ana wind patterns.
The L.A. Pride Parade starts at Highland Avenue and Sunset Boulevard and runs along Hollywood Boulevard, and the Pride Village follows it. CicLAvia has also closed Hollywood streets to cars, including a Koreatown and Hollywood route running 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Both put thousands of people on a linear route, so restroom clusters usually go where people stop rather than where they walk: staging areas, villages and food zones. Parades, processions and demonstrations need Police Department permits, while festivals and street closures go through the Bureau of Street Services, so confirm which applies to your event.
Our parade portable toilets page covers spacing and servicing for route-based crowds.
A commercial shoot needs a temporary use permit through FilmLA, submitted in MyFilmLA by 10 a.m. at least three full business days before the first activity. We found no portable-toilet rule written into that process, so the toilet count is a decision for your production, informed by Cal/OSHA when employees are working.
Cal/OSHA's construction rule asks for one toilet facility for each 20 employees or fraction, so a larger crew with a long base-camp day may want more than one unit and a handwash station. Film and TV location toilets explains how base camps, trailers and unit placement work near a shoot.
A weekly market that draws about 10,000 visitors turns one street into a food court with a sidewalk crowd. Vendors who prepare or serve food need a handwashing sink within reach, and shoppers need toilets that do not force a walk to a restaurant.
Because the market recurs every Sunday, ask the provider about a standing arrangement with regular servicing rather than a one-off delivery. Farmers market toilets covers how recurring markets are handled.
The Walk of Fame, the Hollywood and Highland complex and the Bowl draw visitors of every age and ability from all over. General guidance is that a share of units at a public event be accessible, set on firm, level ground with a clear route, and the sidewalks and curbs here do not always make that easy.
Ask the provider what an accessible unit needs for placement and whether a trailer with a ramp is a better fit for a long day. ADA accessible portable toilets explains the setup.
The September 2024 heat wave put Hollywood-Burbank Airport at 114 F, and the January 2025 Santa Ana winds produced 84 mph gusts there. Neither is an everyday event, but both are part of the Hollywood calendar.
On a hot day, plan servicing and shade. On a wind-forecast day, ask the provider how units will be held in place and whether setup should wait. Portable toilets in LA heat and Santa Ana winds covers both.

Hollywood ZIP codes we cover: 90028, 90038, 90068. Type yours to confirm, or just call.
Not that we found. FilmLA issues the temporary use permit for commercial filming, but no portable-toilet rule turned up in what we reviewed. Cal/OSHA's one toilet per 20 employees applies to construction work, so ask your production safety lead and the provider how to size units for your crew.
A provider can supply units for the day, but a public-right-of-way event needs a permit before anything is placed. Start with the Bureau of Street Services and tell the provider the permitted footprint so delivery and servicing can be planned around it.
Gusts can be strong in this part of the county. On January 7, 2025, the Hollywood-Burbank Airport recorded gusts of 84 mph. Ask the provider how units will be held in place during a wind event and whether your dates might need a backup plan.
They can. Narrow streets and tight turns affect which units a truck can reach and where it can park to service them. Describe the street, the slope and where a unit would stand, and the provider can tell you what fits.
Possibly. The parade itself is a Police Department matter, and festivals and street closures go through the Bureau of Street Services. We cannot say how a particular village is classified, so ask the permit offices and then share the layout with the provider.
